Who we are

Move the Meeting is a retreat concierge based near Lisbon, Portugal. We are responsible for the information you send us. Questions about your data? Email maarten@movethemeeting.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form: your name, work email, company name or website, team size, retreat length, and, if you add them, your preferred dates and what you want the retreat to achieve.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, set up a call and prepare a proposal for your retreat. We use it because you asked us to, as a step before a possible agreement. We don't sell your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking first.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry reaches us through our email and form provider, who stores it on our behalf. If you go ahead with a retreat, we share only what's needed with the partners involved, such as the house or the chef, so they can quote and plan. We tell you who they are in the proposal.

How long we keep it

If you don't book, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If you do, we keep what's needed for the booking and for our accounts, as Portuguese law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop using them. Just email us and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Cookies and fonts

This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where required.

Next Step

Let's plan your team's retreat.

One call, one proposal. Tell us about your team and we'll handle the rest.
